  • Yes! Most extended benefits plans cover physiotherapy services. If you are curious about what your particular plan covers, check with your provider.

  • Nope! Physiotherapists are direct access, meaning that you do not require a doctor’s referral. Rarely, some extended benefits providers require a referral before they will cover your sessions. Check with your provider for details.

  • Yes! Direct billing is available for many major extended benefits plans in Canada. If you’re curious about which appointment types your plan covers, check with your insurance provider.

  • Wear clothes that you’re comfortable moving in. Shorts are great for lower body issues so that I can do a full assessment.

  • Yes! Virtual appointments can be very effective for a lot of conditions. If you are feeling ill and are unable to come into the clinic, virtual appointments are a great option.

  • When you book an appointment, you are reserving that time on my schedule and it is no longer available to other patients. To allow others to book in off of the waitlist, please contact me as soon as possible if you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment.

    Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the service price. Please contact me via email at alex@tidalmotionphysio.ca if you need to cancel.

    If you are feeling unwell please do not come into the clinic. We can convert your appointment into a virtual session if you’d like to avoid the cancellation fee and still attend your session from home.
